Configure permissions

Create also an administrator role with all permissions besides superuser #1. You never know. Use this role normally only yourself from now on.

Change the user setting to create new accounts only after admin approval.

The client must start to play around in the proposal site. Main purposes:

  • learn how to edit and create content with the use of the editor
  • try different themes and choose one
  • being able to give feedback about desired functionality and design changes

For this purpose we create the role of webmaster with an example of the permissions as showed below. The real permissions you give depend on the clients computer experience and their own requirements. Start with basic permissions to add and edit the main content and manage newsletter subscriptions. Later you add other functionality at request.

In IMCE assign profile User-1 to the webmaster and the administrator.
